• Provide direct personal care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Support clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring individuals safely.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist clients in accessing community resources and services as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must identify as male (due to client-specific support needs)
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• Must be able to pass a background screening and drug test
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Strong background in patient care, particularly in assisted living or home/community-based settings
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or memory care needs is highly desirable
• Ability to safely assist with lifting or transfers while maintaining client comfort and dignity
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent observation skills to identify changes in client condition
• Effective, compassionate communication that builds trust and rapport
• Knowledge of social work principles and a proactive, adaptive approach to client-centered care
